Make sure you are prepared for your colonoscopy.  If you do not have your prep solution yet, buy it today. Colyte® does not require a prescription but you will have to ask the pharmacist for it.

To do:

• Confirm your ride to and from your procedure if you are receiving medication (sedation).
• Buy 4L Colyte® bowel cleanse at pharmacy or drug store also called PegLyte® or GoLYTELY®.
• Buy clear fluids such as Gatorade or broth, do not buy anything red, purple, or blue in colour, do not only drink water.
• Buy baby wipes or barrier cream (zinc based) for any irritation that may develop after repeated trips to the bathroom.

If you take iron tablets or fibre supplements (e.g., Metamucil®) stop taking them today.
